Dark Spectrum Chapter 1

The following night, when Rainbow dash arrived home, she couldn't stop thinking about the mysterious mare from earlier that day. Where did she come from? she wondered. Wih a smile of determination, she decided that tomorrow she would go looking for the mysterious mare and find out for herself. After completing her evening rituals, she laid down in her bed of clouds and attempted to sleep.

A few minutes after, just as she was getting comfortable, she heard a tremendous crash in the other room. Dash flew out of bed and sped into the room. There in her living room, stood the mare, with a maniacal grin on her face. Rainbow Dash was shocked, this mare actually had the guts to sneak into HER house?

"You!" Rainbow yelled angrily, leaping into the air towards her. Dash crashed into the shocked mare, knocking them both into the wall.  

"What do you want?" Rainbow Dash yelled, keeping the mare subdued in her iron grip.

"I only wanted to greet you, I heard you were the best in this town. Equestria, even. Apparently, I was... mistaken," she said with a demeaning grin, despite being held on the floor.

"Get out of my house, now. Before I decide to repaint my carpet red."
It surprised the mare to hear such violent words come out of Rainbow Dash's innocent mouth. She stood there confused for a few seconds before letting out a tremendous laugh. Rainbow Dash began to growl, growing even angrier as the mare giggled at her threat.

"You're absolutely hilarious. I'm sorry, but I can't take anything you say seriously, Rainbow Dash."

"How dare you! What do you even want?"

"I merely want to talk to you, it's been so long, I missed you." Replied the mare with a sarcastic grin.

"I've never met you, stop lying to me."

"Oh sure you have silly!!! You just don't remember, that's all!"

Rainbow Dash stared at the mare, completely confused. "What do you mean, I just don't remember?" She asked, annoyed.

"Oh how insulting, I thought you would at least have the decency to remember your own ….....sister."

Rainbow Dash stood there puzzled. How could she possibly have a sister? It wasn't possible, her parents never told her about a sister. Was this really the truth? Was the mare lying?
"What on earth are you talking about?"  She finally said aloud.

"I'm your sister. S-I-S-T-E-R, sister! So Rainbow Dash, how on earth did you get that name anyway, how's life?"

Rainbow Dash nearly screamed at the mare, there's no way she could be telling the truth. "How could you possibly have the nerve to lie to me!"

"I'm not lying, dear sister. Here, let me explain my past to you. First of all, my name is Dark Spectrum, pony of both darkness and light."

"Wait, darkness AND light? What in Celestia are you talking about?"

"You heard me, now let me explain. As I was saying......"

"No, answer my question!"

"Wow, how rude of you to just interrupt me like that, you have no manners.With your permission....I would like to continue."

"Fine...." Rainbow Dash replied with a sigh.

"As I was saying, my name is Dark Spectrum, I am the same age as you."

"Wait! Who are your parents?"

"Again with the interrupting! Goodness, if you must know, my parents are your parents, except with one minor difference; they are not your parents."
